Salina “Sally” Lee, 92, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and formerly of Carbondale, died Wednesday February 9th at Trustbridge Hospice, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was the widow of Frank “Jake” Lee, who died in 2003.
Born in Waller, TX, daughter of the late Monte and Radi Russell Goolsby, she was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a seamstress in several local garment factories. She was a member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the DAV.
Surviving are two daughters: Barbara March, Kennesaw, GA; Salina “Sally” Sayer, Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank Lee; a son-in-law: Dr. Douglas March; and two brothers: Monte and Raymond Goolsby.
The funeral will be Tuesday February 15th from the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. Friends may call Monday, from 2 to 5 pm.
