Sarah Ann Muncie

Sarah Ann Muncie, 27, of Jermyn, died Sunday, January 26th.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Lisa Muncie, Carbondale, she attended Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church, Jermyn.  She was a graduate of Lakeland High School, Class of 2010, and a graduate of the Fortis Institute in 2013, where she became a certified Phlebotomist.  She was currently employed as a caregiver for Public Partnerships for PA.  Sarah was a sweet, generous, and loved person who enjoyed visiting the ocean and going camping.  She loved her family and her dog Leo.  She would always put others before herself.

Also surviving are two siblings: Emma and Cole Guthrie, both of Carbondale; maternal grandparents: Rosari Muncie, Jermyn, and Thomas Muncie and wife Patricia, Scranton; an uncle: James Muncie, Jermyn; cousins: Devin Muncie, Katelyn Muncie, and Samantha Muncie; her significant other, Mario Galvez; and numerous great aunts and great uncles, her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, David Muncie.

The funeral will be Saturday, February 1st, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Saint Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale.  Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 9 am until mass time.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.
