Stephen Peter Goetz, Jr., 70, of Forest City, died Tuesday March 28th at home after an illness. He is survived by his longtime partner of 23 years, Kathryn Mesenbrink.
Born in Santa Barbara, CA, son of the late Stephen Goetz and Nancy Wilson, he was the go-to-guy if you needed something fixed, a “jack of all trades”. Stephen made a career out of being a mechanic. He was the hardest and strongest man around. He could fix anything you needed. If you ever met him, he most likely fixed something for you at one point. His life was him creating building and fixing anything he could. He loved to go camping, car shows, and amusement parks. He loved his cats and spending time with them.
Also surviving are a daughter: Audrey Goetz Tate and husband Terrance; two sons: William and Jason Goetz; a step-daughter: Melissa Visconti; a step-son Anton Shultz 3 grandchildren: Emanuel, Isaiah and Landon a brother; Joseph Goetz; a sister: Debbie Goetz; and several nieces and nephews: Jennifer, Chris, James and Peter Goetz. Also his two cats George and Bootsie.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers; William Goetz and Daniel Goetz.
As per his request, private funeral services were held with interment in Hatboro Cemetery, Hatboro, PA. Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
