Terry A. Munley

Terry A. Munley, 74, formerly of Greenfield Twp., died Thursday December 26th at Aventura at Terrace View, Peckville.   She was the wife of the late Thomas N. Munley, who died June 17, 2015.

Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Robert and Alice Matthews Wilding, she was a graduate of Blakely High School.  She enjoyed attending services at the Clifford Baptist Church.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a receptionist at the former Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale.  She had previously worked at CJ’s Mini Mart, Walmart, and JCPenney.  Terry loved spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.  She was a longtime Girl Scout Leader, and she operated the Plush Animal Stand at the Clifford Picnic for many years.  She was also an election poll worker in Greenfield Twp.

Surviving are a son: Kevin Munley and wife Melanie; stepson: Thomas L. Munley and wife Stephanie; five grandchildren: Kayla; Stephen; Mathew; Riley; and Madison; three great granddaughters: Gabriella; Rickilyn; and Bailiegh; a brother: Gary Wilding and wife Judy; three nephews: Gary and Nathaniel Wilding; Vincent Munley; and three nieces: Dawn Purcell, Janet Kelly, Marielle Munley Freund.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Nanette Munley; and a sister: Penny Wilding.

A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held in the spring with interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Peckville.  Arrangements by the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale.

In lieu of flowers or food, donations can be made to the family to help offset final expenses.
