Thomas Michael Gamble

Thomas Michael Gamble, 79, formerly of Forest City, died Tuesday June 2nd at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center, Scranton.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Peter and Anna Takach Gamble, he was a member of St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Forest City.  He was a 1964 graduate of Forest City Regional High School, and he was a graduate of East Stroudsburg University.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are a sister: Mary Markunas, North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Saturday June 6th at 12 Noon in Saint John’s Cemetery, Dundaff Street, Forest City, to be celebrated by Rev. Roman Vasylynka.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
