Thomas Hayford Sinclair, 65, of Carbondale, died Sunday November 23rd at the Forest City Nursing Center.
Born in Iowa City, Iowa, he was the son of the late Arthur and Georgia Gail Joseph Sinclair. He was a graduate of Kutztown High School. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a foreman for Standard Iron Works, Scranton; and he was a member of the Ironworkers Shop Local 521, Scranton. Tom was an accomplished musician and drummer, performing with the Cat and the Fiddle Band; he previously performed with Randy and the Plutonians. Tom enjoyed watching sports, no matter if it was football, baseball, or golf; he was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing.
Surviving are his two children: Thomas Joseph Sinclair, Eynon; Lacie Nicole Sinclair Zender, Carbondale; a grandson: Finnick Thomas Tice; a brother: Foster Sinclair, San Antonio, TX; two nephews: Cullen and Steven Sinclair; his former wife: Nancy Sinclair, Simpson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Craig Sinclair.
The funeral will be Tuesday December 2nd with services at 6 pm by Pastor Kyle Martin in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Avenue, Carbondale. Friends may call from 4 pm until service time.
