Timothy P. Kilhullen, Jr., 77, of Forest City, died Saturday March 15th at the Forest City Nursing Center. He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Blodnikar.
Born in Carbondale, son of the late Timothy and Ann Chmielewski Kilhullen, he was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City, where he was the former sexton for Saint Agnes Church and caretaker for Saint Agnes Cemetery. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Forest City Council. He was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School, Class of 1967 and the Carbondale Beauty School, where he obtained his beautician’s and instructor’s licenses. He and his wife Barbara owned and operated Kilhullen’s Hair Fashions, Forest City. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the Gentex Corp., Simpson. He was also a former patrolman for the Forest City Police Department, and he had assisted his mother with running Kilhullen’s Flower Shop, Forest City. He was a member of Forest City Emergency Services and an avid Penn State fan. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing. Tim also served as a former councilman on Forest City Borough Council.

Also surviving are a daughter: Kathleen Bezek and husband Brian, Forest City; a son: Richard Kilhullen, Florida; a daughter-in-law: Michelle Kilhullen, Vandling; three grandchildren: Dylan Bezek and Gabriel and Logan Kilhullen; a brother-in-law: Anthony Blodnikar, Jr. and wife Jean, Nicholson; a sister-in-law: Karen Dulski and husband Richard, Clifford Twp.; two cousins: Susan Chmielewski and James Kameen; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friend: Joan Novobilski.
He was also preceded in death by his son: Timothy P. Kilhullen, IV.
The funeral will be Saturday March 22nd with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment, Saint Agnes Cemetery, Forest City. Friends may call at the church from 9 am until mass time. Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
