William H. Shouse

William H. Shouse, 66, formerly of Vandling, died Sunday May 4th at the Forest City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Shelbyville, KY, son of the late Lu and Mary Cox Clarke, he was a graduate of Mountain View High School, Class of 1977.  He was a member of the former Union Dale Presbyterian Church.  Prior to his illness, he was employed as a warehouseman for the Gentex Corp., Simpson.  He was a popular local musician, playing country music.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Forest City Nursing Center for the compassionate care given to Bill.

Surviving are a daughter: Jessica Shouse; three brothers: Lee Clarke, Pleasant Mount; Larry Clarke, Frankfort, KY;  Lynn Clarke, Waddy, KY;  and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter and a brother Michael.

Graveside services will be held Thursday May 8th at 2 pm in Lyon Street Cemetery, Herrick Twp.  Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
