William H. Walters, 90, of Pleasant Mount, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Wednesday August 7th, after recently celebrating his 90th birthday.
Bill was born in Elkins Park, he was the son of the late Mahlon G. Walters and Ella Mae Schaffer Bishop Walters. He became a resident of Wayne County after retiring from a career at Toms River Chemical Company in New Jersey.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and for providing great care to Bill.
Bill is survived by his loving companion, Anne Mead, Pleasant Mount; two daughters: Lee Risden and husband Bob; Melody Risden and husband Ron; two sons: Paul Walters and wife Jane; Will Walters and wife Judy; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law: David Walters and his wife Rose.
A private graveside service will be held in the Lansdale Cemetery. Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main Street, Forest City.
